“When I am 80 I shall have made still more progress. At 90, I shall penetrate the mystery of things. At 100 I shall have reached a marvelous stage, and when I am 110, everything I do, whether it be a dot or a line, will be alive.”

Mackinac Bridge Bench, 2017

From a young age I have always had a uniquely creative approach to problems and a willingness to see the world differently. This, paired with adventurous attitude towards experimentation and seeing failure as opportunity rather than something to fear, gave me an advantage early on, and today gives me an advantage in the world of design. I like to see every problem through this lense - and truly believe all problems can be approached with this mind frame - Research, Brainstorm, Visualize, Experiment, Build, Test, Revise, Repeat, Test, Decide, and finally Facilitate the solutions that emerge.

After 4 years serving in the U.S. Navy as an avionic systems troubleshooter I pursued a degree in Collaborative Design and Functional Art. I earned my degree in 2018. The Training in Design Strategy and various design platforms from CAD to Adobe CC, experience designing and fabricating my own custom furniture, and lots of time as a contributing member on various design teams involving projects ranging from brand identity to industrial design make me a uniquely experienced addition to any creative team. I am unafraid of confronting ambitious and complex projects and value working with other creative minds - for, with others, the possibilities are endless and the learning continuous.

If you have an idea or project you want to discuss, or simply want to introduce yourself, please drop me a line. I would be happy to hear from you.
