4 years with the United States Navy deployed aboard CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln Aircraft Carrier as an aviation electrician with strike fighter squadron VFA-137 inspired a deeper understanding of design thinking and a new perspective on art and creativity.

The Navy led me to Art school - a childhood dream of mine. I am the first in my immediate family to earn a college degree.

My future consists of owning a peaceful place in northern Michigan, with a studio and cabin, near a river or lake, where I may grow old making things and farting around. Humans are not meant to spend life answering emails and paying bills and getting stuck in traffic.

We are only animals after all, animals which accidentally evolved a sick ability to predict a myriad of future perils and pleasures - To contemplate death and fantasize many futures - to be afraid, to laugh, to cry, to love.

Remember to breathe, this is only a passing moment.
